THANKSGIVING!!! That uniquely American holiday: a time set aside for gratitude--for remembering--for THANKING GOD ALMIGHTY; for thanking others--for valuable blessings! Where were you five years ago on Thanksgiving? TEN years ago? Do you have a tale of adventure about your Thanksgiving excursions? --like the the time travel was interrupted by the midwest blizzard necessitating a shared Thanksgiving feast at the Holiday Inn? or the time extra people were added to the guest list at the last moment because of travel woes, that turned out more delightfully than ever? More likely, your memories included stuffing everybody and everything into the vehicle for an amazingly cramped several hours with sensations including toes and various body parts sticking into the back of your chair and causing upset riders, or maybe the occasional rest stop, turned into the hunt for everyone to get back in the vehicle. How many minor key Christmas songs come from the people sitting in the back of the vehicle with a strange mix of harmonies to go along with it? --just part of the many things that you face while traveling over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house for Thanksgiving. What stories do you have of a wonderful family experience, (or less desirable time) spent on the road? What is your favorite memory of being together with the family over Thanksgiving? What are some of your favorite stories: Tell us about them. You also might want to included some helpful tips on packing the vehicle for the trip, or travel hints for making a five-hour drive fun for everyone. One idea to include might be the "5 things to remember quiz" that everyone in the vehicle participates in while you drive, concerning the traditions that your family cherishes- 1st - What are the most important things to remember at this season? 2nd - Where are you most likely to spend Christmas vacation and what are your most favorite things to do there? 3rd - What are your favorite seasonal foods? 4th - What is the family's favorite game to play during the holidays? 5th - Where will you find your Christmas tree and when will you put it up? And through all that don't forget that you have help in restoring that well-traveled vehicle to its formerly pristine condition after all of the holiday fun. Have you ever loaded up the trunk, like it is a stuffed turkey, with goodies for a large Thanksgiving feast, only to realize you forgot to put the Tupperware lid on a dish? You do a quick clean of the surrounding area and plan to have a thorough detail done, next week. Loading up your vehicle like this can be the cause of disaster and make you unhappy when its cleaning time. You can check THAT CONCERN off of your busy list. Keep us--Shines Autos Meticulously-- in mind for that outstanding HELP. We are in Four Corners, and are ready to help you. So enjoy the fun times ahead.
Get out and build those memories: there's joy to be had together! Gather the stories--let us share in the laughter. Gather some great stories during time in the car. Tell us about them. And let us clean up for you afterwards!
We also want to take this opportunity to thank you, our customers, for a good year of opportunities to serve you and your vehicle needs. Happy Thanksgiving!
