 Ahh…. you can already feel the fall coming soon for us in the Gallatin Valley. For some, it is a fresh semester, and students are looking for events to experience outside of school. It can be a good time for canoeing or paddle boarding, floating the Madison, hiking, biking.... There are many events to start considering for planning purposes in this early fall season, as it can fill up quickly. With the new season nearly upon us, there may be outdoor school options, hunting expeditions, family get-togethers, picnics, or neighborhood gatherings to take advantage of the crisp fall beauty that this valley has to offer. At the start of the new semester MSU Bobcat football gears up. The first home game on Saturday the 6th of September brings gold rush fan day (when most everyone wears a gold t-shirt in support of the team). End of season sales and extra back-to-school savings can become the norm as the fall arrives. With many folks around Bozeman make it a top priority to get out into the wilderness before the weather changes. As county fairs and rodeos largely wrap up in August and a new schedule of fall related festivals becomes commonplace in the community, there are a number of small events that can go by unnoticed--even some totally free events that just might be worth exploring. Great opportunities with the family include the fly fishing festival in Ennis this weekend as well as the Bridger Raptor Festival--a great opportunity to do some bird viewing--the first weekend in October up at Bridger Bowl. There are events throughout September to discover and enjoy. You will soon find yourself in the the thick of fall activities. From sports to multiplied other functions, the list begins to grow quickly, and a clean car can rapidly become a secondary need; however, it is a good time to think about fitting a car detail into the schedule.  The changes in car clean/ detail products are many. As technology advances it is apparent that the field of auto detailing is advancing as well. When you think about changes in detailing you have to realize how cars have changed in the last number of years. With new paint surfaces and more options for long lasting applications to renew and restore the original quality, detailing has more options and sometimes fewer unnecessary tools. Seats are generally more adjustable as the vehicle designers have considered many useful features that help out others within the car restoration and renewal fields. This allows us detailers more flexible working environment, as it makes it simpler to get into smaller spaces and remove pieces that used to be more difficult to detach. In recent years there have been a surge in products for continuing a renewing affect on cars. Optimum released their Hyper Compound and Hyper Polish, non-diminishing abrasive products in a light, spray-type consistency. It is more convenient when applying and gives a longer lasting shine. In further areas of special products there have been some changes. One such change came with Meguiar's advances in a new Micro Fiber-pad based system.The micropore technology has given detailers a wonderful new way to work into the smallest of surfaces and give an “afterglow” to a well waxed vehicle. A major part of the advancing products of the last 2 decades is seen in the amazing qualities of the microfiber towel and its use in many cleaning environments not excluding auto detailing. It is amazing what a little extra product worked into the surface can accomplish. At the start of the 21st century there were many developments in the area of new car products. It has caused a continued increase of highly efficient products. One such product, is the waterless car wash. Not only is it a solution for those always on the go, it is a product that answers a growing need in some regions for strict water conservation. As needs for such have arisen there are certain detailing companies that have added a large amount of water reduction and alternative resources to the line up.
