Summer Plans

School is finally out, many have graduated, and it is now time to get out and enjoy summer. The summer is off to a big start for college students and it can be fast moving from the time your last exam ends. You may have a checklist for gear that you are taking with you as you leave for the summer and another as you start getting rid of extra gear, especially after you pick up that extra piece of furniture from your roommate. 

As summer school kicks off in a short time, it may be a short vacation before starting summer school. As we wrap up another semester and finish graduation ceremonies, it means a start of new adventures. One of these is planning where you are going for vacation. How will you get there? Is a vehicle cleaning part of your early, get-ready-for-summer plans? These days you may be making new plans for where you will work in the future. Many are beginning the search for summer jobs. Whether it is a little help around the parents house or time to make a career move, you may find that your summer vacation is quickly eaten up by hours on the job.

What about relaxation time? If you are sticking around there are great opportunities in the valley during early summer. Not only is it only one month away from the Farmers Market season, it is also a great time to get out and do some early season hiking or camping as the weather begins to warm. The rivers will be nice for fishing after the spring runoff. With longer, warmer evenings, it may be fun to grab some friends and catch a local baseball game.
