What do you and your family enjoy doing around the Valley after the snow and cold of winter starts to relent? Do you get in on those final days of skiing? What about the Spring break search for somewhere warm? There are a variety of events that go on in the Valley during the early Spring. Besides getting together to strap on some skis for the last time, you might find a beautiful view to take pictures, you might find time to plan projects around your home. There are often home improvement shows and other opportunities to help you dream about warmer days. You may also be ready to plant seedlings indoors or design some new landscaping. It can be hard to keep up with the events happening around the Valley and we would love to share a few ideas. If you are ready to get out and enjoy some shopping you can do so this weekend. It is time once again for Winter Crazy Days in Downtown Bozeman going on this Friday and Saturday. After a day out shopping, experience some exciting music with a symphony titled, "got rhythm", another installment of the Bozeman symphony series happening on Saturday March 1. Spring can be a great time to give the brain a workout. Why not take advantage of a series of lectures during TedxBozeman 2014 on the 21st of March? This year's theme is "Pioneer Spirit. For more info visit, http://tedxbozeman.com/. You may want to gather the family and take them to see exhibits and learn about science at our local Museum of the Rockies. Early April offers a cheap option to do so during Astronomy Day at the Museum of the Rockies. There are various activities happening in surrounding communities as Spring begins, check out West Yellowstone for the Snowmobile Expo on the 14-16 of March. Even with all of the hopes for warmer weather, don't forget to go up to Bridger Bowl for one of their ski series including the annual Pinhead Classic on Saturday, March 1st, where you can dress up in theme related apparel or its Big Sky counterpart at the end of the season, April 12th, for the Pond Skim and attempt to make it across a pool of water by sheer momentum. It can be a great finish to the ski season with a bunch of friends. Let us know your favorite options for what's happening around the valley.
